Procedure:
The adjudication of six complaints submitted by the complainant were scheduled for the 26th July 2017. The complainant emailed the Workplace Relations Commission on the day of the hearing to say that he wished to temporarily suspend his claims. The Workplace Relations Commission advised that he should attend the adjudication to make any application he wished. The complainant did not attend the adjudication and there was also no appearance by or on behalf of the respondent.
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.

Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.

CA-00011003-002 As the complainant did not attend to advance his complaint, I deem that the complaint made pursuant to the Payment of Wages Act is not well founded. CA-00011003-003 As the complainant did not attend to advance his complaint, I deem that the complaint made pursuant to the Payment of Wages Act is not well founded.
