Procedure:

In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015,following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General. A hearing was arranged for June 20th 2018. However, neither the Complainant or the Respondent attended at the WRC at the scheduled time. I established that both parties were correctly on notice of the hearing.

Findings and Conclusions:

Neither the Complainant or the Respondent attended the hearing scheduled for 2Oth June 2018. As the Complainant has failed to attend to establish the validity of her complaints, I conclude that the claims fail for want of prosecution.

Decision:

Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.

Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.

I conclude that the claims fail for want of prosecution.
