Procedure:
In accordance with section13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969,following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.

Findings and Conclusions:
This adjudication was one of a number involving the worker and the respondent, and one of a wider group involving this same respondent and family members of this complainant.
At the centre of the dispute is the worker’s allegation of harassment by the operations director employed by the respondent dry cleaners. This is addressed substantively in the Employment Equality Act complaint in ADJ 3961.
The appropriate recommendation in this adjudication report is to recommend that the respondent introduce a detailed bullying and harassment policy and to provide training to staff. |
