Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015; Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969 ; Section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994; Section 77 of the Employment Equality Act, 1998 ; Section 27 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 and Section 18 of the Parental Leave Act 1998 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
1: Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The Complainant did not attend and no evidence was presented in support of the Complaints. |
2: Summary of Respondent’s Case:
As the Complainant, did not attend and no evidence was presented on his behalf the Respondent was not required to go into evidence. |
3: Findings and Conclusions:
Being satisfied that the Complainant was properly notified and did not attend the Oral Hearing, nor submit any reasonable explanation for non-attendance, I dismissed the claim for Want of Prosecution. |
4: Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015; Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969; Section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994; Section 77 of the Employment Equality Act, 1998; Section 27 of the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 and Section 18 of the Parental Leave Act 1998 requires that I make a decision & recommendation in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions of the cited Acts.
