Date of Adjudication Hearing: 3/Jan/2018
Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Catherine Byrne
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015, these complaints were assigned to me by the Director General. A hearing was arranged for January 3rd 2018. On December 27th 2017, an e mail was sent to the WRC from the complainant’s husband’s e mail address informing us that she would not attend the hearing. The respondent did not attend either, although she was correctly on notice.
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
Neither the complainant or the respondent attended the hearing scheduled for January 3rd 2018. As the complainant has failed to attend to establish the validity of her complaints, I conclude the investigation and find against the complainant. |
