Procedure:

In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015, these complaints were assigned to me by the Director General. A hearing was arranged for September 20th 2018; however, the complainant did not attend. Ms Conroy attended for the respondent and said that it was her understanding that the matters had been settled between the parties.

Decision:

Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 and Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 require that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under the legislation.

As the complainant failed to attend to establish the validity of his complaints, I conclude the investigation and find against him.
