In accordance with Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.

Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The complainant brought two identical claims against two different employers. The period of employment in both claims are identical. The employer named in claim ADJ 14554 is the correct employer. They accept that they are the correct employer. On that basis, the claim should be dismissed against the within employer. |
Findings and Conclusions:
The respondent herein and the respondent named in claim ADJ 14554 attended at the hearing. The respondent in claim ADJ 14554 accepted that they employed the complainant. On that basis I am dismissing the claim against the respondent named in these proceedings. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
The claim is dismissed. |
