Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 21 of the Equal Status Act, 2000, andfollowing the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
This Complaint was scheduled for hearing on the 23rd April 2019 at 10.00am in Room 405, Lansdowne House. Neither the Complainant nor the Respondent appeared. I checked with PRU and found that there was no request for a postponement by either party. |

There was no oral evidence offered in this case by either of the parties and therefore no opportunity for me to inquire into the complaint. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
Section 25 of the Equal Status Acts, 2000 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 27 of that Act.
I find that the complaint fails. |
