Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 ;Section 39 of the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 – 2014: Section 7 Terms of Employment (Information) Act, 1994 andSection 11 of the Minimum Notice & Terms of Employment Act, 1973following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
Background:
The issues in contention concern the alleged Redundancy, Non-Provision of a Contract of Employment and failure to pay Statutory Minimum Notice to the Complainant following the closure of a Restaurant where he had been employed. |

The Respondent did not attend the Hearing. I was satisfied that Proper Notice had been served on the Respondent. Accordingly, no Respondent rebuttal evidence was available to the Hearing. |

The final calculation to be in keeping with the Rules and Regulations of the Department of Social Protection. |
