Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Catherine Byrne
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015, these complaints were assigned to me by the Director General. A hearing was arranged for February 4th 2019 at 10.30am. A Company Director attended for the respondent, accompanied by the Revenue Manager; however, the complainant and his representative did not attend. The complainant was using the address of the office of his representative. I established that the letter notifying the complainant of the date and time of the hearing was sent on January 11th 2019, which was the same day that that notice was issued to the respondent.
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints.
In the circumstances where the complainant did not attend the hearing, and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary having been submitted, I must conclude that these complaints are not well founded and I decide accordingly. |
