Complaint seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under the Industrial Relations Acts | CA-00022594-001 | 12/10/2018 |
Date of Adjudication Hearing: 19/12/2018
Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Catherine Byrne
Procedure:
This complaint was submitted to the Workplace Relations Commission on October 12th 2018. The complainant alleges that he has a grievance with his former employer that falls to be adjudicated upon in accordance with section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969. On November 27th, the parties were notified of the date of the hearing; however there was no appearance by or on behalf of either side.
I am satisfied that the complainant and the respondent were informed in writing of the date, time and place at which the hearing to investigate his complaint would be held.
Decision:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
In the circumstances where neither the complainant or the respondent attended the hearing, and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary having been adduced before me, I must conclude that the within complaint is not well-founded and I decide accordingly. |
