In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
Background:
The complainant commenced employment with the respondent on 31st January 2018. His employment ended on 7th May 2018. He was paid a weekly gross salary of €608.00. He submitted a complaint to the WRC on 19th June 2018. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The complainant submits that: 1. He did not receive wages due to him of €608.00. 2. He did not receive holiday pay due to him of €768.00 3. He did not receive notice pay due to him of €592.00. The complainant gave direct evidence and provided supporting documentation.

Findings and Conclusions:
On the uncontested evidence of the complainant I find that he is owed the monies outlined above, totalling €1,968.00. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)/dispute(s) in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
The complaint is well founded. I order the respondent to pay the complainant €1,968.
