Procedure:
In accordance with 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, andfollowing the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, a Hearing was scheduled for 24th January 2019. The Complainant did not attend this scheduled Hearing on 24th January 2019.
The Complainant referred a complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission on 29th June 2018 under the Employment Equality Act, 1998 alleging she had been discriminated against by the Respondent on grounds of her Gender. I am satisfied that the Complainant was informed by the Workplace Relations Commission of the date time and place of the Hearing scheduled for 24th January 2019. The Complainant did not attend this scheduled Hearing.
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
In accordance with Section 79 0f the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 I declare this complaint is not well founded. |
