Procedure:
In accordance Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.

There was no appearance for or on behalf of the complainant. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The respondent applied to have the matter struck out for want of prosecution. |
Findings and Conclusions:
I am satisfied that the complainant’s representatives, SIPTU were on notice of the hearing date, time and venue. There was no appearance by the complainant. As no evidence was given by the complainant, I find that the complaint is not well founded and accordingly fails. |
Decision:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
The complaint fails. |
