Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Worker was employed as a Simulation Engineer from 6th March 2016 to 4th December 2018. He was paid €4,541.67 per month. He has a dispute with his former employer regarding a pay review and his rate of pay. |
Summary of Worker’s Case:
DID NOT ATTEND |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
No claim has been prosecuted. The Worker has not formally raised a grievance with the Employer. |
Findings and Conclusions:
I note that there is correspondence on file advising both parties of the venue, date and time of the hearing. I note that the Employer attended with Representatives. I note that the Worker did not attend and was not represented. I find that it was necessary for the Workie to present his case directly at this hearing. I find that no claim was prosecuted. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute
I recommend that this claim should fail as the Worker did not present a claim. |
