Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The Complainant made contact with the WRC and advised that he had left the Respondents employment and had started a new employment. He advised that he could not attend the hearing due to his new work commitments. |

Findings and Conclusions:
As part of my investigation under the Workplace Relations Act 2015, I am obliged to hold a hearing. The complainant was notified of the arrangements for the hearing in writing by letter dated the 3rd December 2019 and acknowledged that he had received this correspondence. As no evidence was given at the hearing in support of complaint, I conclude the investigation.

Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
I declare that the complaint is not well founded. |
