1.Not Made Aware of the Grievance Procedure
BACKGROUND:
2.On the 5 March 2020 the Worker referred the issue to the Labour Court, in accordance with Section 20(1) of the Industrial Relations Act, 1969. A Labour Court hearing took place in a virtual court room on 17 December 2020.
The Worker agreed to be bound by the Court’s Recommendation.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Worker failed to attend the Court hearing or to provide the Court with a submission. Therefore, the Court had no case to consider. The Worker’s claim fails.
