Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Gaye Cunningham
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Decision:
The Complainant did not attend the hearing convened to consider his complaints.
His legal representative advised the WRC on 23 November 2021 that he would not appear at the hearing. Separately, the WRC was advised by the Respondent’s solicitor that the matter had been settled.
I have decided therefore, in the absence of any prosecution of the matter, that the Complainant’s complaints are not well founded.
