BACKGROUND:

2.The Company appealed the Decision of the Adjudication Officer to the Labour Court under the Organisation of Working Time Act, 1997 on 27 October 2020. A Labour Court hearing took place on 4 February 2021.

The following is the Court’s Determination: -

DETERMINATION:

An Adjudication Officer issued a Decision under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997 in favour of Mr. Brennan.

This was appealed to the Court by Getfood Ltd.

The appellant party did not turn up to the Court hearing to present their appeal, which took place in a virtual Courtroom. Therefore, there was no appeal for the Court to consider.

Determination

The Decision of the Adjudication Officer is upheld.
