BACKGROUND:

2.The Company appealed the Adjudication Officer's Decision to the Labour Court in accordance with Section 7(1) of the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 on 27 October 2020. A Labour Court hearing took place on 4 February 2021.

The following is the Determination of the Court:

DETERMINATION:

An Adjudication Officer issued a Decision under the Payment of Wages Act 1991 in favour of Mr. Brennan.

This was appealed to the Court by Getfood Ltd.

The appellant party did not turn up to the hearing, which took place in a virtual Courtroom, to present their appeal. Therefore, there was no appeal for the Court to consider.

Determination

The Decision of the Adjudication Officer is upheld.
