SUBJECT: 1.Redundancy Claim.
BACKGROUND:
2.This dispute concerns a claim for enhanced redundancy terms. The Worker referred this case to the Labour Court on 01 October 2020 in accordance with Section 20(1) of the Industrial Relations Act, 1969, and agreed to be bound by the Court’s Recommendation. A Labour Court hearing took place on 16 November 2021.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Worker failed to attend the Court hearing or to provide the Court with a submission. Therefore, the Court had no case to consider. The Worker’s claim fails.
The Court so Recommends.
