Procedure:
In accordance with section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969, this dispute was assigned to me by the Director General. Due to restrictions at the WRC during the Covid-19 pandemic, a hearing was delayed until Friday, June 10th, 2022. The parties to the dispute did not attend the hearing and no one attended to represent either party.
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
In the circumstances where the parties did not attend the hearing, I recommend that the employer takes no further action regarding the matter in dispute. |
