Date of Adjudication Hearing: 12/07/2022
Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Gaye Cunningham
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969 following the referral of the complaint/dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint/dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint/dispute. Despite being advised of the time, date and procedure for hearing his complaint/dispute and numerous attempts made to contact him, the worker did not attend the hearing or give any explanation for his non-attendance.
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
The worker did not afford the WRC or his employer the courtesy of showing up at the hearing convened to consider his complaints and disputes and provided no explanation for his absence. I therefore am in no position to make a recommendation to resolve his disputes. This matter is now therefore considered closed.
