Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The complainant is employed by the respondent and has been so since 12th July 2021. This complaint was received by the Workplace Relations Commission on 5th November 2021. |

Conclusions:
A complaint was received by the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission on 5th November 2021 alleging that his / her employer had treated her unfairly.
The said complaint was referred to me for investigation. A hearing for that purpose was scheduled for 17th June 2022. There was no appearance by or on behalf of either the complainant or the respondent. I am satisfied that both parties were informed of the date, time and place at which the hearing to investigate the complaint would be held.
In these circumstances and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary having being adduced before me, I must conclude that the within complaint is not well-founded and I decide accordingly.

Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
