In respect of welders an additional increase of 1.5% to be applied with effect from 1st January 2022. On the issue of release for Union Committee members the Court recommends that this number should be capped at 7. The Court further recommends that: For 2022, Christmas bonus vouchers of €500 be paid in line with the normal practise. From 2023 onwards, a bonus payment of €750 comprising of €325 guaranteed payment and €425 linked to productivity be paid in a tax efficient manner in line with the normal payment schedule for the Christmas bonus. In order, to give effect to the productivity element of the bonus, the parties with the assistance of their own experts in this area if required, should utilise the period September to December 2022 to agree performance metrics that would come into effect on 1/1/23. If by the end of this period (December 2022) any unresolved issues remain in respect of agreement on the performance metrics, these issues can be referred back to this division of the Court for final determination. The Court so recommends.
