Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Hugh Lonsdale
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Background:
A hearing of this complaint was scheduled for 27 July 2023 and both parties were informed by letter which were sent by email on 8 June 2023. The complainant did not attend the hearing. No communication was received from the complainant for her non-attendance. The respondent did attend. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
Did not attend. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
Did attend. |
Findings and Conclusions:
The complaint was referred to me for investigation and a hearing for that purpose took place on 27 July 2023. The complainant did not attend and I am satisfied she was informed of the hearing. As she did not attend the hearing the complainant was unable to give direct evidence to pursue her complaints. In the absence of direct evidence I conclude the complaints are not well founded |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
For the reasons given above I conclude the complaints are not well founded. |
