Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and Section 39 of the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Background:
There was no appearance by either party for the hearing.
|
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
There was no appearance for or on behalf of the Complainant at the hearing today. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
There was no appearance for or on behalf of the Respondent at the hearing today. |
Findings and Conclusions:
There was no appearance for or on behalf of either party at today’s hearing. Other than the complaint form being file the Complainant he has not engaged with the WRC at all. Both parties were put on notice of the hearing time and date and a remote hearing link was sent to them at the address set out in the complaint form. In all of the circumstances I find that the complaints are not well founded and accordingly fail. |

[Section 39 of the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 – 2012 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under that Act.
