Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended)following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
The hearing was held in person in the WRC Hearing Rooms, Carlow and was attended by the worker and employer.
At the hearing, the worker withdrew the complaint under the Industrial Relations Acts.
Background:
The worker referred a number of complaints to the Workplace Relations Commission which included a complaint under the Industrial Relations Acts which was received on 3rd June 2022. |
Summary of Workers Case:
The worker decided not to proceed with the Industrial Relations complaint. |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
As the worker did not proceed with the Industrial Relations complaint, there was no case to answer by the respondent. |
Conclusions:
Section 13 requires that I issue a recommendation on the merits of the dispute and as the worker did not set out a case, I recommend that there are no merits to the worker’s dispute.
