Procedure:
On the 25th November 2020, the complainant referred a complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission pursuant to the Equal Status Act. The complaint was referred to adjudication on the 1st March 2022 and this took place remotely.
The complainant was represented by his partner, the complainant in ADJ-00030835. This complaint is anonymised as two of the related complaints are from children of the complainant. Harriet Meagher BL instructed by Danny Ryan, Ken Kennedy solicitors represented the respondent, and three witnesses gave evidence on its behalf.
In accordance with section 25 of the Equal Status Act, 2000following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The complaint relates to an incident of the 1st October 2020, as set out in ADJ-00030835. The complainant asserts that this was discrimination, harassment and victimisation on the disability ground. |

The findings and conclusions are set out in ADJ-00030835. I find that the respondent did not discriminate, harass or victimise the complainant. |
Decision:
Section 25 of the Equal Status Acts, 2000 – 2018 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 27 of that Act.
