Procedure:
On the 25th November 2020, the complainant referred a complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission pursuant to the Equal Status Act. The complaint was referred to adjudication on the 1st March 2022 and this took place remotely.
The complainant was represented by his mother, the complainant in ADJ-00030835. The complaints are anonymised as two of the complainants are children. Harriet Meagher BL instructed by Danny Ryan, Ken Kennedy solicitors represented the respondent, and three witnesses gave evidence on its behalf.
In accordance with section 25 of the Equal Status Act, 2000following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
Via his mother, the complainant outlined that he was discriminated against by association. The evidence is set out in ADJ 30835. |

The respondent denies the claim as set out in ADJ 30835. |
Findings and Conclusions:
I find that there was no discrimination, harassment or victimisation as set out in ADJ 30835. |
Decision:
Section 25 of the Equal Status Acts, 2000 – 2018 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 27 of that Act.
