Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The complainant commenced employment on October 10th, 2021, and her employment terminated on the 20th of January 2022.
The complainant gave relevant evidence on affirmation.
In respect of the complaints under the Terms of Employment Information) Act that she says that she received neither the core terms nor the longer statement of the terms of employment as required by legislation. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
In respect of the complaints under the Terms of Employment Information Act the respondent’s evidence was that the required statement was issued on commencement of the complainant’s employment that she had signed it.

Findings and Conclusions:
I accept the respondent’s evidence that the complainant had, in fact, been given the necessary statutory statement. The complainant did not dispute this when it was brought to her attention.
The complaints under the Terms of Employment Information Act are not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
For the reasons set out above complaints CA-00048283-001 and 002 are not well-founded. |
