Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Penelope McGrath
Date of Hearing: 15/05/2023
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Complainant alleges he was unfairly dismissed. As the Complainant has worked with the Respondent for less than three months his claim is brought under the Industrial Relations Acts. |

The Complainant did not attend and did not elaborate on his claim. |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
The Respondent provided me with a full submission and was represented at the hearing with the HR Manager in attendance to give evidence. |
Conclusions:
I did conduct a comprehensive investigation into the complaint as the Complainant did not attend to make his case. I make no recommendation. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
I make no recommendation.
