Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 and section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute
This matter was heard by way remote hearing pursuant to the Civil law and Criminal Law (miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 and SI 359/20206, which designates the WRC as a body empowered to hold remote hearings.
No objections were raised to the remote hearing.

Background:
The complaint submitted that he was employed from the 6th April to the 29th June 2020 and his employment ended on the 7th July 2020. He was paid €5000 per month (€3916.87 nett) The Employee submitted that the employer has not paid him or paid him less than the amount due to him. The Complaint is claiming €5500.00, and the employer did not pay his health insurance. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 and in accordance with section 13 of the Industrial Acts that I make the following a recommendation.
I cannot support the dispute as the issues raised have been dealt in another complaint under the Payment of Wages Act 1991. |
