Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard and to present any evidence relevant to the complaints. The hearing was held in the Hearing Rooms, Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), Carlow. The complainant and respondent did not attend the hearing. The respondent submitted evidence that the respondent company was dissolved.

The complainant submitted two complaints to the WRC received on 8th August 2023. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The complainant did not attend the hearing to make out his complaints. I am satisfied that he was on notice of the hearing. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The respondent did not attend the hearing although evidence was submitted that the company did not exist and was dissolved. |
Findings and Conclusions:
There was no appearance by the complainant to make out his complaints. Evidence was submitted that the company was dissolved. I find that the complaints are not well founded. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
