Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015,and Section 39 of the Redundancy Payments Acts 1967 - 2014 and Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, and Section 25 of the Equal Status Act, 2000, and Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard and to present any evidence relevant to the complaints. The hearing was held at 10am on 10th May 2023 in the WRC Hearing Room, Carlow. The complainant was not present at the commencement of the hearing. I delayed the hearing for 15 minutes in case the complainant was delayed. The complainant did not attend.
Background:
The complainant submitted a series of complaints to the Workplace Relations Commission on 13th September 2022. The complainant did not attend the adjudication hearing to given evidence or make out her case. I am satisfied that the complainant was on notice of the hearing. |
