In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015;Section 6 of the Payment of Wages Act, 1991 and Section 23 of the Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints.

Non-Appearance of Parties

Neither Party attended the Hearing, and no mitigating excuses were received by the WRC.

I was satisfied that all parties had been properly notified of the date, time and place of the Hearing.

Accordingly, the case did not proceed and was dismissed.

The Complaints fail.

Decision:

CA-00053938-001 (Payment of Wages Act,1991) and CA-00053938-002 (Industrial Relations (Amendment) Act, 2015.

Complaints fail as not prosecuted.
