Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 Section 8 of the UnfairDismissals Acts, 1977 - 2015, Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015following the referral of the complaint(s)/dispute(s) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint(s)/dispute(s).
Background:
The Complainant referred a number of issues to the WRC for hearing. An interpreter was provided as requested and the hearing of the complaints was scheduled for the WRC Offices in Sligo for 24 November 2023. A request for a remote hearing was declined by the undersigned due to the number and complexity of the complaints and the need for interpretation. Neither party attended without any prior notice of their decision not to do so.

Decision:
Sections 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint(s)in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
Section 23 of the Industrial Relations(Amendment) Act.
Section 27 of the Organisation Act 1997.
Section 8 of the Unfair Dismissals Acts, 1977 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the unfair dismissal claim consisting of a grant of redress in accordance with section 7 of the 1977 Act.
Section 12 of the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act 1973.
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
