Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The Worker was employed by the Employer as a ‘fish worker’ for a period of approximately four (4) months in 2022. |
Summary of Worker’s Case:
No appearance was entered by or on behalf of the Worker. |
Summary of Employer’s Case:
The Employer attended the hearing. |
Conclusions:
The dispute was received by the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission on 18th July 2022. The complaint application number CA-00057677 was assigned to the dispute. The dispute was referred to me for investigation. A hearing for that purpose was arranged for 19th June 2023. There was no appearance by or on behalf of the Worker at the hearing.

Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
I do not recommend in favour of the Worker. |
