Date of Adjudication Hearing: 23/07/2024
Workplace Relations Commission Adjudication Officer: Thomas O'Driscoll
Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints. Neither the Complainant nor the Respondent turned up at the hearing.
Background:
The Complainant submitted a number of complaints to the Workplace Relations Commission under various pieces of legislation as listed above. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The Complainant did not attend the hearing though I am reasonably satisfied that he was notified about the date, time, and venue of the hearing, at the address supplied to the WRC. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The Respondent did not attend the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As the Complainant did not attend the hearing, I find that the various complaints, as listed above, are not well founded due to a lack of evidence. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
