Procedure:
In accordance with Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint(s)/dispute(s) and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
I conducted a remote hearing in accordance with the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020 and Statutory Instrument 359/2020 which designates the Workplace Relations Commission as a body empowered to hold remote hearings.

At the adjudication hearing there was no appearance by or on behalf of the Complainant. Being satisfied that the Complainant was on notice of the time date and venue for the adjudication hearing I proceeded in the absence of the Complainant. The Complainant did not appear to present his case. The Respondent has no case to answer. The Complainant is not well-founded. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
