Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaints to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaints and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaints. Neither the Complainant, nor the Respondent attended the hearing.
Background:
The Complainant submitted the above listed complaints to the Workplace Relations Commission on 17 August 2023. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The Complainant did not attend the hearing. I am reasonably satisfied that he received notification well in advance of the hearing, clearly stating the date, time, and location. |

Findings and Conclusions:
The Complainant did not attend the hearing therefore my findings are as follows.: CA-00058324-004 Complaint seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under section 7 of the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994: I find that the complaint was not well founded due to a lack of evidence. CA-00058324-005 Complaint seeking adjudication by the Workplace Relations Commission under Regulation 18 of the European Communities (Road Transport)(Organisation of Working Time of Persons Performing Mobile Road Transport Activities) Regulations 2012 - S.I. No. 36/2012: I find that the complaint was not well founded due to a lack of evidence. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaints in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
