Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended) following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The dispute centred on the alleged Unfair Dismissal of a Sales Agent by the Employer. The employment began on the 15th November 2023 and ended on the 14th November 2023. |
Non-Attendance of Worker at the Oral Hearing.
The Worker, despite being fully notified of the Date, Time and Place of the Hearing, did not attend.
A period of some two weeks was allowed post the Hearing date for receipt of any mitigating explanations from the Worker.
None were received.
Accordingly, the Dispute was deemed Not Well Founded and was struck out for want of prosecution.
Conclusions:
The Worker did not attend and no evidence was presented on his behalf. |
Recommendation:
CA-0006151
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
The formal Recommendation is that the case is not Well Founded and be deemed Struck Out.
