Procedure:
In accordance withSection 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard and to present any evidence relevant to the complaint. The hearing was held in the Hearing Rooms, Workplace Relations Commission (WRC), Carlow. The complainant did not attend the hearing. The respondent representative made a submission in advance and attended to respond to the complaint.

Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The complainant did not attend the hearing to make out his complaints. I am satisfied that he was on notice of the hearing. |

The respondent made a submission and attended the hearing to respond to the complaint. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As there was no appearance by the complainant to make out his complaint, I find that the complainant was not discriminated against. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
