Procedure:
In accordance with Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 - 2015, following the referral of the complaint) to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint. Neither the Complainant nor the Respondent attended the hearing.

Findings and Conclusions:
The Complainant did not attend the hearing. I made enquiries with the Workplace Relations Commission administrative department as well as considering the material notification correspondence, and subsequent to those considerations, I am reasonably satisfied that the Complainant was notified of the date, time, and venue of the hearing. I find that the Complainant was not discriminated against due to a lack of evidence. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
