Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The complaint was in relation to a fixed term contract of employment and Sectoral Employment Order (SEO). |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
There was no appearance by Complainant at the hearing today. There was correspondence on file from the Complainant advising that a postponement request has been refused and advising he would have to appear at the hearing. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
There was no appearance for or on behalf of the Respondent at the hearing today. |
Findings and Conclusions:
After waiting a reasonable time period neither the Complainant nor Respondent appeared at the hearing. Both parties were put on notice of the hearing time and date and a remote hearing link was sent to them at the address set out in the complaint form. Decision:
