Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The respondent attended the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
A complaint was received by the Director General of the Workplace Relations Commission from the complainant on the 24/6/2024 alleging that the respondent had contravened the provisions of the Employment Equality Acts1998-2015 in relation to him. A hearing for that purpose was held on 10/9/2024. The complainant did not attend the hearing. I am satisfied that the said complainant was informed of the date and time of the hearing and failed to attend. In these circumstances and in the absence of any evidence to the contrary having been adduced before me, I must conclude that the within complaint is not well-founded and I decide accordingly. |
Decision:
Section 79 of the Employment Equality Acts, 1998 – 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under section 82 of the Act.
I do not find this complaint to be well founded. |
