Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts 1969following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The referral is made under the Industrial Relations Act and is a trade dispute. There is no correspondence on the file from the Respondent. There is no additional correspondence from the worker apart from his complaint form. Neither the worker nor his former employer attended the scheduled hearing. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
As the Worker failed to attend no case was presented. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The employer failed to attend. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As neither party attended at the hearing no findings or conclusions arise. The worker was notified of the date, place and time of the hearing and had consented to email communication. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Acts, 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute
No recommendation can be made where the parties fail to attend and for failure to attend I must find that the dispute has no merit. |
