Procedure:
In accordance with Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act, 2015 following the referral of the complaint to me by the Director General, I inquired into the complaint and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any evidence relevant to the complaint.
Background:
The Complainant alleged that ‘I did get a payslip but not the money. I also didn’t receive the right minimum wage for the month of January’. |
Summary of Complainant’s Case:
The Complainant failed to attend at the hearing and to make out his case. |
Summary of Respondent’s Case:
The Respondent failed to attend at the hearing. |
Findings and Conclusions:
As the Complainant failed to attend at the hearing there is not case to answer. The Complainant consented to email notification and I am satisfied that the he was notified at the address provided of the date, time and place of hearing. |
Decision:
Section 41 of the Workplace Relations Act 2015 requires that I make a decision in relation to the complaint in accordance with the relevant redress provisions under Schedule 6 of that Act.
As the Complainant failed to attend to make out his case, I must dismiss the complaint for failure to attend. I determine that the complaint is not well founded. |
