Procedure:
In accordance with Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 (as amended)following the referral of the dispute to me by the Director General, I inquired into the dispute and gave the parties an opportunity to be heard by me and to present to me any information relevant to the dispute.
Background:
The within dispute was referred to the WRC on 5th September 2023 and related to incidents of inappropriate behaviour towards the worker while employed by the employer. Since the referral of the dispute, the worker’s employment ended by reason of redundancy on 17th January 2024. The worker decided not to pursue the dispute on the basis that he was no longer in the employment. |

Conclusions:
In conducting my investigation, I have taken into account all relevant submissions presented to me by the parties.
At the adjudication hearing relating to other employment related issues referred to the WRC, the worker confirmed that, as he is no longer employed by the employer, he did not wish to pursue the matter any further. |
Recommendation:
Section 13 of the Industrial Relations Act 1969 requires that I make a recommendation in relation to the dispute.
The worker withdrew the matter at adjudication. In those circumstances I recommend that the parties consider the matter closed. |
